Best selling pico-projector update (April 2011)

Here's our monthly best-selling pico-projectors list for the end of March 2011. We're using data from Amazon.com, which seems to be selling the most wide range of pico-projectors. This list does not include embedded modules in mobile phones or cameras.

  1. Optoma PK301 ($364)
  2. 3M MPro-150 ($253)
  3. Microvision ShowWX+ ($399)
  4. Optoma PK201 ($289)
  5. 3M MP180 ($447)
  6. FAVI E1-LED-PICO ($159)
  7. FAVI B1-LED-PICO ($279)
  8. Optoma PK101 ($179)
  9. WowWee Cinewin Swivel ($169)
  10. AAXA L1v2 ($399)

While the 4 best selling projectors are the same as last month, the rest of the list is quite different - with the MP180, FAVI E1, Cinemin Swivel and the AAXA L1v2 in the list, taking over some 3M, Samsung and Optoma models. In fact, the MP180 and the FAVI E1 have only just started selling (we'll post on this soon) - and it seems that these are popular models.

Size of market

Do you have any idea of how many pocket projectors are being sold in total around the world or in the US? What is the current size of the market?
