CF-LCoS pico projector modules expected to drop in price and size by the end of 2010

According to Taiwanese CF-LCoS (color-filter LCoS) makers, by the end of 2010 prices of LCoS for pico-projectors will fall from about $30 to $20 and the size will be reduced from 4.7cc to 3cc. The power efficiency will be higher - around 8lm/W.

Himax plans to ship more than 600,000 pico-projector modules(mostly CF LCoS ones) in the first half of 2010, to be used in digital cameras and camcorders.
