Dyoptyka unveils an anti-laser-speckle optical module for pico projectors

Dyoptyka has announced a new speckle-reduction module, the Clear Mini, that is small enough to be used in pico projectors. Speckle is a very annoying issue with laser-based pico projectors, and it'll be interesting to see how Dyoptyka's new module helps.

Dyoptyka's Clear Mini contains a deformable mirror that has an active surface 4.8 x 4.8 mm in size and a control-electronics circuit board 10 x 10 mm in size. Power consumption of the Clear Mini is typically 75 mW.
