Hitachi uses 16 projectors to create a 10" 3D Display

Hitachi has created a new 3D display (10", 640x480 resolution) that does not need glasses. The image can be seen from any angle (horizontal and vertical).

The technology is called "Integral Photography with Overlaid Projection" - 16 projectors and a lens array sheet over them. This makes it possible to view the 3D display from any angle (vertical and horizontal).
