Maradin and iView to co-develop high-res pico projector light-engine

Maradin and iView announced that they will develop a laser (Light-Beam-Steering) and MEMS pico projector module for next-gen high-resolution (SVGA) pico projectors.

Maradin are working on the scanner-mirror part of the laser projector, and iView (who already has LCoS based modules) will develop the actual light engine, which will use use both interlaced and progressive scanning regimes. The companies say the new module will be power efficient and will be the smallest module available.
