Maxim packs 3 channel laser drivers into a single chip

Maxim is introducing a new product, the MAX3600 - a single 5mm x 5mm chip that integrates three discrete laser drivers. The MAX3600 is suited for high-res pico projectors.

Maxim claims that the new chip consumes 75% less volume and 30% less power than other designs. It's also about 25% cheaper.
