Microvision shows an early prototype of their 3D PicoP technology

Microvision is demonstrating an early version of their 3D PicoP technology. The new laser based projection engine uses mixed-polarization to offer 60Hz passive 3D for each eye.

The company says that their next-gen HD PicoP engine will include this 3D technology, and it's expected to be released during the second half of 2012 (which is a year later then their original plan).
