Pacific Media Associates (PMA) says that global pocket and pico projector market will grow 125% in the third quarter of 2010 (compared to last year). They include all sub-500 lumens projectors in that category. Pico-Projectors will grow from 45,000 units in 3Q-09 to over 100,000 3Q-2010. DLP will be the leading technology with 51% of the units.
