Description:
The L1 Pico-Projector is a laser-driven LCoS (Syndiant SYL2010) pico-projector with an internal storage and media player. The L1 is tiny: 4.2" x 2.1" x 0.8" and weighs in at 170 grams (including battery). The laser projector is focus free, and can project on curved surfaces. It has 160Mb of internal memory, and has a USB connector for USB drives (up to 32GB, a 2GB one is included). It can play back videos (AVI, ASF, WMV and MPG), audio and photos. Favi called the RIOLED-V a hybrid netbook/media-player/projector - it uses Linux to run a series of web apps (such as YouTube, Flickr, Picasa, Yahoo news and weather, Email, a web browser, and more). It's got Wi-Fi, and also USB and A/V connectors. It has built-in memory (not sure how much) and a SD/MMC card reader. It also includes a remote.
