Sony announces a new family of projector camcordersSony announced three new flash HD camcorders with built-in pico projectors. All three units sport DLP based projectors that differ in brightness, and will all ship next month. The high end HDR-PJ790V has a 24.1 mp Exmor R CMOS sensor, a 5.1 channel microphone and a built-in 35 lumens projector. It also includes image stabilization, 96GB of flash memory and Wi-Fi. It will cost $1,599.
The mid-range HDR-PJ650V sports a 20,.4 mp sensor, a 5.1 channel microphone and a built-in 20 lumens projector. It also includes image stabilization, 32GB of flash memory and Wi-Fi. It will cost $1,099.
Finally, the "budget" HDR-PJ430V has a 8.9 mp Exmor R CMOS sensor and a built-in 13 lumens projector. It will cost $849.
