Spotlight-Navigation - a GUI designed for mobile projection systemsHere's a nice demo from Ubiprojection 2010, showing Spotlight-Navigation, a GUI designed for mobile projection systems.The idea is to get a huge 'virtual' screen, that only a part is illuminated by the projector. Then if you move the projector's beam around, you can pan the screen. Zooming is also possible by controls (or gestures). It's the same basic idea we've seen a few days ago in a gaming-projection demo. The Moject system also uses the same principal.

On a historical note,
On a historical note, Spotlight Navigation was originally developed at Sony in 2003. It was first presented at the Pervasive 2004 conference as a video paper. The projector is not a commercial model but the original hand-built prototype.
