Mark Harward, Syndiant's CEO, has posted an interesting blog post, in which he discusses the four major pico-projector technologies: CF (color-filter) LCoS, FSC (field-sequential-color) LCoS, MEMS scanning and DLP. He says that FSC LCoS will be the top technology in future years - as it provides the best image quality, resolution and cost. Obviously he isn't objective (but DisplaySearch think that same) as Syndiant makes FSC LCoS modules... DisplaySearch mostly agrees with him though.
