Video prototypes

Here's a nice video about TI's new nHD DLP pico-projector module. It is being demoed on the new Samsung Beam projector phone:

In CES 2010, Foryou showed a couple of pico-projector prototypes that use Syndiant's SYL2061 LCoS panel (announced in September 2009), supporting 1024x600 resolution. These were designed by Astri (an R&D technology development organization). Now we found a nice video on these pico-projectors (in Chinese), showing them in action, and even showing the projector module itself being assembled:

Here's a video from January 2009 showing LG's prototype projector phone. Since then, they have actually released the LG eXpo projector-phone, in which the projector is an accessory. The phone sells for $49.
