Microvision is a public company based in the US with around 150 employees, focused on Display systems. Microvision has developed their own laser-beam-steering pico projection engine, the PicoP - with 848x480 resolution, 10 Lumens at 60Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio. The engine can be embedded in other gadgets.
Microvision also offers the Show WX, a projector based on their PicoP engine soon. It is already shipping in the US, Asia, and in Spain. You can buy it from Amazon for $549.
