According to a letter they sent to all "VIP" members of their site, this discounted price will be available until June 22nd. So if you want one, you better hurry up. Or else wait a year for the HD version to come out... The Show WX is the world's first laser-beam-steering pico-projector. It's small (118mmx60mm, 14mm thin) and light (122g with battery). It offers 10 lumens and a 848x480 resolution. Because it's based on laser, the image is always in focus! The Show WX is now shipping for $499.

Microvision NOT a bargain Laser projector
Cant really see this as a bargain - its still $500 for a projector thats really underpowered in brightness at only 20 lumens in this price bracket.
Other personal projectors are half that price and you get more than twice the brightness such as the adapt 305. You can even get a 100 lumen projector with 1.5 hr battery such as the Adapt 450 which has twice 5 times the brightness for the same money.
I'm afraid the Microvision is going to have to half in price before it becomes a bargain and before it catches up with the huge advances other companies have made recently.
