Philips PicoPix projectors use Syndiant's SYL2041 LCoS modulesSyndiant announced today that the upcoming Philips PicoPix projectors use their SYL2041 (SVGA (800x600) LCoS modules. The PicoPix are made by Sagemcom (a French-based high-technology group). The PicoPix projectors offer 800x600 resolution, a 300:1 contrast ratio and 20-30 lumens (depends on the model). The PPX-1020 does not have a battery and needs to draw power from a computer (via USB). The PPX-1230 adds a battery, and the PPX-1430 has an internal media player via a SD card slot. The projecteds will ship soon in Europe.
