TI developed a new DLP pixel architecture that doubles the efficiency and resolutionTI announced a new DLP Pico pixel architecture called Tilt & Roll pixel (TRIP). TI claims that products built on DLP TRIP Chips will be 30% higher in brightness, consume up to 50% less power and have double the resolution compared to older DLP chips.  TI DLP Pico Gen 2 chipsTI says that they are now sampling DLP TRIP chips, and they expect products based on those chips to arrive as early as the end of 2013.
